When my husband and I were first married, a friend told us about a chiropractor she knew and how much he had helped her. We were unsure at first, having never been to one. I was suffering from migraine headaches at the time and decided it was worth a try to see if he could help me. We set up an appointment, he educated us on what chiropractic care was and how it could help us and we decided to try it out. After scans and x-rays and learning what our spines should look like, we realized this was something we really needed. I will have to admit I was hesitant to get that first adjustment, but after reading, learning, and educating ourselves about what chiropractic care could do for us, we decided to do it. I was surprised by how easy and painless it was. We started going regularly and were amazed by the results. I was so surprised at how much it helped and was so thankful not to have to take prescription pain medicine anymore for my migraines. I also suffered from IBS and it really made a difference with those symptoms as well.

A couple years later we moved to the Indianapolis area. We wanted to try a new chiropractor but were hesitant because we had such a great experience with the other one. We just were afraid we would never find someone as good. Years went by and we had no chiropractic care. It showed! My husband’s back was hurting and I had neck pain and numbness in my arm and leg. I saw a neurologist who basically said I had a bulged disc and sciatic pressure and there wasn’t much they could do for me other than pain medication. I asked about physical therapy, massage therapy and chiropractic care and they said they were all worth a try. I really didn’t want to have to take pain meds forever. After some massage therapy and learning stretches that were supposed to ease my pain, I felt slightly better. However, I was nowhere close to feeling normal. I started thinking I would just have to live with pain forever.

 Finally, we decided to try out a chiropractor in town we had heard about. We started getting regular adjustments from Dr. Evans and took our daughters for adjustments as well. They are 5 and 3 and they do not mind a bit to get adjusted. In fact, they look forward to it. They know it is good for their bodies and they love how Dr. Evans is so kind to them. We would also get massages in addition to the adjustments and we started seeing results very quickly. We were seriously asking ourselves why we had waited so long. We knew all along it would help us, but we just put it off. Dr. Evans is so knowledgeable about the body, and keeping healthy. He has helped us find good supplements for our entire family to take to help keep us healthy. He is so kind and generous and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. He has a passion for what he does and loves to help others. We are so thankful that we found Dr. Evans and that we are getting regular chiropractic care again. It has made a huge difference in our lives. I would recommend him to anyone!
